As part of the Poverty & Inequality Initiative's monthly seminar series, the PII and the Southern Africa Labour and Development Research Unit are pleased to host the Cape Town launch of the South African Child Gauge 2018 in partnership with the Children's Institute, University of Cape Town.
Join the lead editor of the South African Child Gauge® 2018, Katharine Hall, and contributing authors as they share insights from the latest publication. The thirteenth issue of the Child Gauge focuses on children in relation to families and the state, both of which are central to providing for children and supporting their development. The authors demonstrate the diversity and fluidity of families as they strategise for their own survival, for the development and protection of their children and the realisation of their dreams.
Join the discussion and pick up your copy of this issue of the Child Gauge.
