This seminar, hosted by the Poverty & Inequality Initiative and the African Centre of Excellence for Inequality Research, is the third in a series on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Dr Britta Rennkamp from UCT's African Climate and Development Initiative will present on the trade-offs between climate policy and poverty reduction, including renewable energy policy, carbon pricing and carbon budgets. You will learn about South Africa's climate policy in the context of the SDGs and the implementation of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
