Social Justice Conference

15 Sep 2014 - 14:45

The Department of Philosophy held a conference on Social Justice from 15 to 17 August 2014. The conference explored questions of social equality and the potential of political philosophy in deepening understanding of – and addressing – inequality and disadvantage. The keynote speaker, Professor Jonathan Wolff of University College, London, has served on committees advising the UK government on critical social issues and led a post-conference PII public seminar and panel discussion on the topic of ‘dealing with disadvantage’.
